The founder of NCT completed his basic medical education way back in 1968 and specialized in ophthalmology in 1970. He has an exemplary track record of over four decades in giving eye care facilities to the residents of Gurgaon and nearby districts. His vision of providing world class quality Eye care to the poor led to the birth of Niramaya and the Niramaya Eye Bank.

Recently retired as District Re venue Officer, Sonepat, after decades of exemplary public service throughout Haryana. Played a leading role in Y P Mahindru Niramaya Eye Bank’s due recognition by the government. Guides and leads the interface with administration and regulatory framework. Currently guiding a rural healthcare project as a senior advisor.

Currently Chief Executive, Wholesale Finance, L & T Infrastructure Finance Co. Ltd. Associated with developmental banking and energy efficiency for many years. He is co-founder of Niramaya and is Hon. Secretary of the same.
DR. HITENDRA AHOOJA
Hon. Medical Director
MBBS MS (Ophthalmology) from GMC Nagpur in year 2000. He did his Fellowship in Cornea & Anterior Segment in 2004 from LVPEI Hyderabad. He is presently Med ical Director of Eye & Dental Institute & Hon. Medical Director of YP Mahindru Eye Bank and Chairperson of North-Zone, Eye Bank Association of India. Besides the fundamental Ophthalmic procedures, he has about 1000 Keratoplasties (Corneal Transplants) to his credit.
SH. MAHENDRA NATH
Treasurer
He did his Graduation (hons.) from Punjab University. He has served Government/Private sector for 40 years with clean & excellent record and is retired on AGM from a leading automotive component organization.
